Virtual studio visit & Interview with Res in Art

My work acts as a response to the experience of shortcomings when I digest the systems. Facing new rules and logic follows with struggle, learning, or adjustment. Imaging enigmatic instructions as tools, I depict failed attempts and unclear conclusions which we experience more than flawless answers.

I pull off diagrams and indications from various manuals, which are designed to deliver clear directions and answers. By rearranging the components of goal-oriented systems, I fabricate not so helpful solutions to the problems of life. Despite the legibility of each appropriated part, collective images lead viewers to obscure comprehensions. With interest in unpredictability and detour, which placed underneath orders and rules, I twist ordinary and comfort to fragmented realities.
